RAP - Reconciliation Action Plan
At Ness Reserve Pre-School we acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we meet, work and play. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future and commit to working in partnership as we strive to embed Indigenous perspectives within our curriculum.
As part of our formal commitment to reconciliation we have developed a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which documents how we, at Ness, will strengthen relationships, respect, understanding and opportunities within the preschool service and the wider community.
Our RAP has been approved by Reconciliation Australia and we are excited to share it with you, simply click on the link below for more information.
We recognise that the pathway to reconciliation is ongoing and we invite members of our community to join our Working RAP Group and support us as we implement and further development steps in our reconciliation journey.
Together, as a community, we will endeavour to weave a tapestry of unity, diversity, and mutual respect, honouring the rich heritage and unique contributions of all peoples, and forging a path towards a more inclusive, and harmonious society for generations to come.
